myWorld First Step sessions and other overseas study sessions

myWorld First Step sessions provide vital information on how to incorporate overseas study into your University of Melbourne degree. The session will have you thinking about where in the world you would like to go and how you can get there.

Attendance at a myWorld First Step session is compulsory and forms an eligibility requirement for any student wishing to participate in the exchange program. Students are required register for a session at What's on at Stop 1? and have their student ID scanned so attendance is recorded. Students who have not attended a session will not be eligible to apply for the exchange program

To register for any of the overseas studies sessions:

  • Go to What's on at Stop 1?
  • Scroll down to 'Study Overseas' to search for sessions
  • Click the blue 'Register' button at the top of the page
  • At the Book a Stop 1 advisor page select:
  • Workshop > Overseas Study Workshop > SESSION Name

If you are not sure what the date of the next session is, choose next and it will take you to a calendar where you click forward to choose a date that suits you.
