The School of Economics, Business and Accountancy (FEA) at the University of São Paulo in Brazil and the Faculty of Business and Economics have agreed to begin exchanging students from semester 1, 2014. See the entry under Brazil in the partner list for the relevant links to the website.

New scholarships for 2013

BUTEX Student Scholarships

The Scholarship is open to all international undergraduate students offered a study abroad or exchange place at a UK university or college which is BUTEX-affiliated.  This round of applications is for students who have an exchange place commencing in either September 2013 or January 2014 for at least one semester. The value of each scholarship is £500 and will be paid to the winners once they have arrived and registered at their host university. For more information please refer to the Other Funding page.

Study Abroad at St Peter's College, University of Oxford

St Peter's College at the University of Oxford has places available for up to three students from the University of Melbourne to complete a year of study abroad from September 2013. Students from discipline areas such as History, English, Philosophy, Politics and Economics will find much expertise and variety in the subject offerings. The standard natural sciences and Management are also strongly supported. More information is available in their brochure (6.8MB pdf).

You must meet the usual requirements for study abroad but would be expected to have an average of around 80% to be considered by St Peter's College. You will also be responsible for tuition and living costs (36KB pdf) at the College. You can also download urther information about what you need (29KB pdf) when you go and the regulations for the visiting student program (24KB pdf).

To find out about applying, contact your Faculty Advisor. The completed Oxford application (100KB doc) together with a proposed study plan is due to your Faculty Advisor by Friday 22 March. (extended deadlines)

National Institute for Materials Science, Japan

The National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) near Tokyo in Japan has agreed to begin receiving PhD students from the University of Melbourne from semester 1, 2014. See the entry under Japan in the partner list for the relevant links to the website.

London Business School, UK

The London Business School and the Graduate School of Business and Economics have agreed to exchange students enrolled in the Master of Finance in their respective institutions. They will begin exchanging students from semester 1, 2014. See the entry under UK in the partner list for the relevant links to the website.
